PETomobil
Safe and simple transport of a radiopharmaceutical dose to the patient.
It reduces the risk of exposure and contamination of medical staff handling radioactive solutions.
The syringe with the activity, placed in its tungsten primary shield, is inserted into the cavity of the device. After the lid is closed, the dose can be easily transported to the patient.
The device provides secondary shielding of up to 40 mm Pb. Its cavity is sized to fit the tungsten syringe shield (not part of the device).
The trolley is intended for transporting syringes indoors on solid, flat floors. The lid with two hinges is opened by a solid grip and stays in both the open and the closed position under its own weight.
PETomobil is available in two variants: PT151R12 for one syringe and PT151R13 for two syringes.

Design
Shielding container
A cubic lead block with a cavity for the syringe, closed by a removable prism-shaped lid and fixed to a support plate on the frame. The lead thickness is 40 mm (45 mm at the lid, 30 mm locally in the recesses for the fingers and the clamping screw of the syringe shield). The container and lid are finished with yellow baked epoxy enamel.
Frame
A curved tubular frame with a welded cross handle at the top and cross tubes at the bottom for the wheels. A polyamide stop on the vertical tube holds the lid in the open position. The frame is finished with white baked epoxy enamel.
Wheels
Two fixed, maintenance-free casters with impact-resistant polyamide rims, ball bearings and non-marking grey treads. A polyamide end cap is fitted on the support leg.
