Manual transport of a syringe with a radioactive solution.
The container reduces the risk of exposure and contamination of staff handling radioactive solutions. It allows a syringe to be transported with the plunger fully drawn and the needle on (also with the protective sheath) or with a stopper.
The syringe can be inserted in its Lynax tungsten syringe shield for SPECT (2 mm W).
Main components
- Container base – 5 mm lead shielding, inner and outer stainless steel jacket and a large handle
- Lid – cylindrical, 5 mm lead shielding, inner and outer stainless steel jacket
- Removable plastic insert for the syringe
